Who is responsible
Ezako, a simplified joint-stock company registered in Paris under number 531 200 707, whose registered office is at 13 b avenue de La Motte-Picquet, 75007 Paris, France, is the controller of the data described here. For anything about your data, write to contact@ezako.com.
What we receive, why, and for how long
When you write to us or ask for a demo
The forms on this site ask for your name and email address, and, depending on the form, your company, phone number, subject and message. The fields marked optional can be left empty.
- Why: to answer you and, when you ask for one, to prepare a demonstration or an offer.
- Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, or our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us (GDPR, article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Who reads it: the Ezako staff who handle requests. The form also sends them an email notice through Ezako’s own mail server.
- For how long: each request is deleted automatically 365 days after it was sent. If it leads to a business relationship, what that relationship needs is kept for as long as the law requires.
When you subscribe to our news
If you give your email address to receive Ezako’s news, we first send you a message to confirm it: nothing else is sent until you do.
- Why: to send you the news you asked for, a few times a year.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR, article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- For how long: as long as you stay subscribed. Every message carries a link to unsubscribe in one click. Once you leave, your address is kept only marked as unsubscribed, so that nothing is ever sent to it again; you can ask us to delete it entirely. An address that is never confirmed receives nothing, and is deleted on request.
When you simply read the site
Reading the site gives us no personal data. The server does not record your IP address in its logs: it notes only which page was asked for. To protect the site against abuse, it counts requests per address in memory: the address is never written to disk and is forgotten when the server restarts. Our audience measurement is made of daily counts with no identifier, and the site sets no cookie for its visitors (see our cookie policy).
Where the data is kept
The site and its data are hosted by OVHcloud (OVH SAS, Roubaix, France), in its Roubaix datacentre, in France. Ezako sells none of this data, shares it with no advertiser, and uses no automated decision-making or profiling.
Your rights
You may ask to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before. You may also tell us what should happen to your data after your death (French Data Protection Act, article 85).
Write to contact@ezako.com; we answer within one month. If you think your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris (cnil.fr).
Changes to this policy
If what the site does with personal data changes, this page will say so first, with a new date at its head.
