About Ezako

Ezako is a French company founded in 2011, working from Paris and Sophia Antipolis. Its engineers and data scientists build the Upalgo software, develop detection algorithms and annotate acoustic, DAS, radio-frequency and time-series data for defense and industrial programmes.

What Ezako does

  • Software

    Upalgo Labeling, in three editions for sound, DAS and time series, and UpalgoDB, the server that holds the recordings, the labels and the work of the teams. Both are developed by Ezako and run fully offline.

  • Algorithms

    Detection and pre-labeling models for acoustic signatures, vessel passages and anomalies. A model proposes; an analyst validates.

  • Datasets and annotation

    Labeled datasets built to specification, and annotation carried out by Ezako’s specialists in France, on the customer’s premises or at Ezako, under non-disclosure agreements.

    Bora Kizil

    A computer engineer with an MBA from HEC Paris, and an entrepreneur since 2011. He joined Ezako in 2017.

  2. Portrait of Julien Muller

    CTO

    Julien Muller

    He joined IBM in 2000 as an information systems architect, working in California on the management and analysis of heterogeneous data, then the consulting team of IBM France in 2005, before leading the technology of Ezako.

Milestones

2011Ezako is founded in Paris.
2017Bora Kizil joins Ezako, which he leads.
2019Winner of the Bpifrance AI Challenge on anomaly detection.
2020Anomaly detection in satellite telemetry for CNES; prediction of the radio sites most likely to reveal an anomaly, for ANFR, over a national park of more than 76,000 sites.
2021A deep learning approach to signal anomaly detection published with Safran Aircraft Engines.
2022RAPID DASMIA with Alseamar, supported by the DGA: deep learning on autonomous underwater platforms. Ezako joins NVIDIA Inception and the Minc Scale programme; VASCREEN with MION within SecurIT.
2023Upalgo Labeling joins the Altair Partner Alliance; fault detection on a microcontroller within DeepGreen, the project led by CEA.
2025RAPID DASMIA with DGA and XPERT, funded by the Agence de l’innovation de défense: adapting neural networks to every underwater platform.
2026Upalgo Labeling in three editions, Sound, DAS and Timeseries, with UpalgoDB.
